Privacy Policy

Gutflow is a wellness app that helps you track meals, symptoms, and hydration to uncover delayed food triggers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to getgutflow.com and the Gutflow application.

We collect only what we need to run the service and give you accurate insights:

• Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password when you register.
• Health and wellness logs: the meals, symptoms, hydration, and notes you choose to record. This content is yours.
• Billing information: if you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

• To provide the core product: correlating your symptoms with foods eaten in the preceding 2–72 hours and calculating your gut health score.
• To manage your account, authenticate you, and process subscription billing.
• To keep Gutflow secure, debug issues, and improve the product.
• To send essential service messages (for example, billing receipts or important account notices).

We do not use your meal or symptom data for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

• We never sell your personal data.
• We never share your health logs with advertisers or data brokers.
• We never run third-party ad tracking inside the app.

We share data only with the service providers required to operate Gutflow, and only to the extent needed:

• Stripe, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Our hosting and database infrastructure providers, who store data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities, only where we are legally required to comply with a valid request.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. When you delete your account, we delete your associated logs, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

• Access and export: you can export your logs at any time from your account.
• Correction: you can edit or update your entries directly in the app.
• Deletion: you can delete individual entries or your entire account, which removes your logs.
• Cancellation: you can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period.

Gutflow is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
